The last release of the Orient Curator comes in the form of the FFD0J001T0 in brown and rose gold tone. We’ve certainly saved one of the best for last, and we don’t expect this model to stick around for long! The Curator collection overall is very well designed and stylish, with the new FFD0J001T0 taking the cake in regards to elegance.
The new Orient Curator is unique in that it features a brown sunburst dial, which deviates from the usual dial colors we tend to see on other Orient watches. The brown dial in a rich rose gold tone case really sets off the look and simply exudes luxury. The brown leather band and rose gold tone buckle complete the presentation of the piece very well. Function wise, the Curator sports a date window at the three o’clock and a power reserve at the twelve o’clock. What’s more is that the Curator is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is very scratch resistant and should keep the watch looking brand new.
The Orient Curator is 41mm in diameter with 22mm lugs. For a dressy watch, this is fairly large, but lately we’ve been seeing these kinds of watches around this size, or more. We’d say that 41mm is a fantastic contemporary size: it’s not too large and should fit on the wrist with ease. The FFD0J001T0 is priced at $440, but with code ‘summer2013’, the price is dropped to around $308. We only received a very small number, so pick yours up while you still can!
