Similar in style to the popular Orient Star Classic, this more durable and sporty-looking watch sits at 42mm wide and just 11.5mm thick. The sunburst dial features a 50-hour power reserve indicator at the 12:00 position and a date window adjacent to the 3:00 hour marker. Its long, dauphine hands and bar indices are intentionally on the large side in order to increase readability while still maintaining a clean look, and the beautiful Sallaz polishing of the case results in a mirror-like appearance. Sallaz polishing is used to finish steel parts of a watch to create a high-gloss surface. This technique reduces any distortions in order to reflect light evenly and is found on a number of pieces from the Orient Star collection. On top, the watch features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective (AR) coating. The 22-jeweled Orient caliber F6N43 (also seen in Orient Star Outdoor field watch) powers this model and the inner workings can be viewed through the mineral glass exhibition case back.
