The new Orient Bambino has been quite successful in its initial release. In fact, last week’s FER2400BW was sold out overnight. Today, we’re very proud to release the FER2400CN0. The new Bambinos are all about the vintage look and the FER2400CN is no different.
The FER2400CN sports a dark cream colored dial, which actually looks aged and weathered. The three hands are a bright metallic blue that really pops off the dial. We really think that this was an awesome touch, and while the bright blue may not be a feature of many classic watches, it provides great contrast. In some light settings, the hands will look matte black, but in others, very bright blue. In a sense, you’re getting two different looks. Aside from the date window and track chapter ring, the Roman numerals are silver stainless steel in color. The crown is antique styled as well.
At a contemporary size of 40.5mm, the new Orient Bambino is far from the size of classic watches of the past. We like to think of it as ‘contemporary classic’, which may not make any sense at all (but you understand what we mean). It’s a vintage watch with great style. The Orient Bambino ER2400CN retails at $260 (but only $182 with code ‘summer2013’).
