Judging from the success of yesterday’s release of the FER2400BW0 in stainless steel, we thought we’d share and release another new Bambino model that’s a bit different. We now present the FER24009W0 in gold tone. We’re big fans of vintage looking watches and if the dial wasn’t antique enough for you, the rich gold tone should seal the deal (because let’s be honest: what’s more vintage-y than a classic gold watch?).
The FER24009W features a pearl white dial that gives a very consistent shimmer from a variety of different angles. Aside from the bold, gold colored Roman numerals, the black chapter ring forms a nice contrast along the outer edge. The gold colored hour markers and long skinny hands help define the aesthetic, along with the domed crystal.
After a closer look at the 40.5mm case, one could see that it too is highly detailed. Running down the side of the case, past the beautifully beveled bezel is an indentation that runs around the case. Not only is this a unique style point, it provides a lot of dimension and uniqueness to the case. The sides of the case are brushed metal while the rest is polished. A smooth stainless steel screw case back protects the case from behind. There also lies a laser etched Orient logo. The crown is now antique-styled to top off the vintage look.
The ER24009W retails at $270, but can be purchased for $189 after using code ‘fall2013’.
